Registration Policy:
- Upon registration, participants agree to the terms and conditions laid out by Codebeat for TechXcelerate. Registration is considered final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to personal schedule conflicts, illness, or inability to attend the event.
- The registration fee is non-transferable, meaning participants may not transfer their registration to another person without prior written consent from the event organizers.
- All registered participants must provide accurate information during the registration process. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their registration without a refund.
Postponement and Venue Change:
- Codebeat reserves the right to reschedule the event or change the venue at its discretion due to unforeseen circumstances, such as but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or logistical issues.
- In the case of rescheduling or venue change, participants will be informed at least 48 hours in advance. Participants are expected to make the necessary arrangements to attend the event on the new date or at the new venue.
- No refunds or compensation will be provided in the event of a reschedule or venue change. Participants are encouraged to plan accordingly to accommodate such changes.
Event Conduct and Participation:
- Participants are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to the event code of conduct throughout TechXcelerate.
- Any form of misconduct, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event without a refund. Participants engaging in illegal activities, damaging property, or violating local laws will be held liable.
- Teams must work on the problem statements provided by the organizers and submit their final projects within the designated timeframe. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
Intellectual Property:
- All intellectual property rights for projects developed during TechXcelerate remain with the respective participants or teams. However, participants grant Codebeat the right to use, display, and share their projects for promotional and marketing purposes, including on social media, websites, and other platforms.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that their projects do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
Photography, Media, and Recording Consent:
- By attending TechXcelerate, participants consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed for marketing and promotional purposes by Codebeat and its media partners.
- These materials may be used across various media, including but not limited to social media platforms, websites, brochures, and other promotional materials, without compensation or further consent.
Liability and Responsibility:
- Codebeat and its partners will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during TechXcelerate.
- Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and property during the event and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions.
Event Changes and Cancellation:
- Codebeat reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible, and alternative arrangements may be offered. However, no refunds will be provided.
